PECOS is the e-portal that Part A Medicare providers use to enroll in Medicare. All Part A providers need to be PECOS active, otherwise, you will not be able to view the CWF Part A Medicare Verification section in DDE.

It's being updated multiple times per month, and Episode Alert processes any changes within the file within one business days. Updates by CMS are sporadic, so while we do our very best to keep our data up-to-date, there are times when our search may be out of date by about a week.
